As required by the Society, the James River Chapter is managed by an elected Administrative Board.

The Administrative Board manages the chapter’s affairs. All officers must be elected in accordance with the STC Bylaws. Other members of the council include those who lead chapter committees and SIGs.
Board Meetings
The Admin Board meets at the call of the chapter president or at the request of any two of its elected members. A majority of the Board constitutes a quorum. A simple majority rules on questions brought before the Board.
Due to the geography of our region and chapter, most meetings are held remotely using teleconferencing and online meeting technologies.
