The new Society association management software, iMIS, is now operational. iMIS enables STC to provide members:
- 24/7 access to member profiles and records on the Society Web site .
- The ability to set his/her own password and user name.
- Immediate updates to member records (addresses, phone number, community selections, etc.) when a member renews or joins online.
- An automatic confirmation email sent to the member who has renewed or joined online. (Those who continue to use snail-mail or fax still require time-intensive hand processing.)
iMIS went through two testing cycles. The biggest challenge was to ensure that iMIS met the needs of our global members.
Data conversions take time, and there still may be some glitches. The Society counts on your support to refine the system. Please send your suggestions to Evelyn McCamey , Community Relations Manager.
