 Our Chapter provides you opportunities to meet others and build professional and personal networks.
We do this through a variety of venues:
- Socials
- Teleconference meetings
- Regional conferences
Geography and Our Chapter
 Most of our members reside and work in or near Richmond and the cities in the Tidewater area (Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk). Others are near Charlottesville and in the Shenandoah Valley.
It’s at least improbable that—or most—will be able to meet in any given location on a weeknight. If we asked members to take up to four hours to drive round-trip on a Saturday for a program or social meeting would have predictable results, too.
So, we use teleconferencing to conduct program meetings and we set up social events, such as gatherings during “happy hour,” at a local restaurant or tavern.
