Program

Our mission is “… to advance the theory and practice of the arts and sciences of technical communication.” We do this by providing opportunites for professionals to meet and to learn more about our profession through networking, training, conferences, and communication. As much as possible, our Chapter is dedicated to providing our programs online for members and non-members.

    Chapter Programs

ccmeetingannouncement.pngChapter meetings are announced both on our Web site in the Calendar and, for those who sign up for our e-mail newsletters, in HTML e-mail. Meetings are also set up as events for which you can—and should—reserve your “seat” by logging into our Web site and clicking Event Sessions.

Why? Our account with GoToMeeting is restricted to a given number of participants, that’s why. As participation grows, we increase the number of participants for meetings. Your reservation lets us gauge the number of seats we need.

We also look to increase the number and venue for Networking Events we sponsor. We also announce these in our e-mail newsletters and our Calendar. You should also register for Chapter networking events by logging into the Web site and clikcing Event Sessions. Your reservation lets us know how many seats and tables to reserve with our host for the event.

If you set up a local networking or informal meeting, you can publish it here, too! Register your account with this Web site and you can add your event to our Calendar.
