The CIC SIG operates within STC at the international level, and supports local chapter CIC SIGs.

2009 Conference Volunteer Coordinator Needed!

A successful CIC SIG conference experience begins and ends with the numerous volunteers who handle such tasks as planning the Monday night dinner, publishing the CIC SIG session roadmap, staffing the CIC SIG table at the welcome reception, and other tasks.

Our CIC SIG is need of a volunteer to coordinate these other volunteers for the 2009 Communications Summit.  The task starts in late March/early April, and consists of fielding responses from our "Call for Conference Volunteers" request, assigning tasks to the people who volunteer, and following up with those volunteers.  You do not have to attend the conference to coordinate the conference volunteers.

If you would be interested in donating a total of about 15 hours of your time to handle the Conference Volunteer Coordinator position, contact our CIC SIG Manager, Barbi Harrison.
