Barbara Heninger, a Senior Technical Publications Consultant with Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (http://www.cadence.com/), developed this presentation to complement that developed by Dr. JoAnn Hackos regarding the misconceptions in developing online Help systems. In this document, Ms. Henninger discusses how “we” fail our customers and how we can solve those issues. This discussion may have aged a bit since it was developed in 2001, but the principles remain as provocative and useful as ever.
